Day 1: Arrival Delhi

Arrive at Delhi. Our representative from Connecting Horizons will meet and greet you at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.


Day 2: Delhi – Agra

After breakfast in the morning our journey will starts towards Agra a 05 Hours drive will take you to Agra. Check-in at the Hotel. After fresh up visit the world famous Taj Mahal and the mighty Agra Fort. Later in the evening drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 3: Agra - Lucknow

After breakfast a drive of 10 – 11 hrs / 410 Kms will take us to Lucknow enroute visit Sankasia, a place where Buddha returned to earth after his death. Later continue drive to Lucknow, Check-in at Hotel for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 4: Lucknow – Varanasi

After early breakfast a drive of 7 hrs will take us to Varanasi, Check-in at Hotel. Rest of the day is free for your own activities like visit to local market, shopping etc. Overnight at the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 5: Varanasi

Early morning have a boat ride on river Ganges to see the bathing ghats. Later Visit Sarnath a place where Lord Buddha launched the “Wheel of dhamma” and began teaching. Afternoon free for your shopping etc. Overnight at hotel for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 6: Varanasi – Bodhgaya

Early morning after breakfast began over journey towards Bodhgaya. A long drive of 7-8 hours / 243 kms will take you to Bodhgaya. Check-in at Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.


Day 7: Bodhgaya

After having breakfast visit Mahabodhi Temple (where Lord Buddha said to have attained enlightenment), Bodhi Tree (Buddha sat under this tree when he attained enlightenment), Great Buddha Statue, Sujata Temple, Niranjana River and various other Buddhist Temples in Bodhgaya. Overnight stay at hotel for dinner and overnight stay..


Day 8: Bodhgaya – Rajgir – Nalanda – Patna

Morning after breakfast start your drive for Patna. On the way visit Rajgir, World Peace Stupa, Bamboo's Garden and Nalanda to visit the ruins of world oldest University. In the evening reach Patna the capital of Bihar. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 9: Patna - Vaishali - Kushinagar

Morning post Breakfast proceed to Kushinagar which is approx. 256 kms / 07 hrs drive, On the way, visit Vaishali where Buddha announced the approaching of his mahaparinirvana. After that continue Drive to Kushinagar. On arrival Kushinagar, transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.


Day 10: Kushinagar – Lumbini

After breakfast visit Rambhar Stupa (cremation site of Lord Buddha) and Maha Parinirwana Temple (where Buddha took his last breathe). Afternoon drive further 5 hrs / 170 kms to Lumbini. (Nepal). While going to Lumbini, stop at India/Nepal border for Visa/Immigration formalities. Later check-in at Hotel. In the evening visit Lumbini, the Birth place of Lord Buddha. Overnight stay at Lumbini.


Day 11: Lumbini – Kapilvastu – Sravasti

After breakfast morning leave for Sravasti, enroute visit Kapilavastu a place where Buddha spend his childhood & also visit ruins of the Palaces. Later continue drive to Sravasti & on arrival check-in at hotel. Later visit Sravasti, where Buddha spent his 24 monsoons, visit Jetvana and Ananda Bodhi Tree. Overnight stay at Sravasti.


Day 12: Sravasti – Lucknow – Delhi

After breakfast drive 195 kms/ 5-6 hrs to Lucknow. Lunch at Lucknow. Thereafter transfer to Railway station to board shatabdi train to Delhi, Dinner will be served on Board and transfer to Hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.


Day 13: Delhi - Departure

After breakfast visit the city of Delhi like Lakshmi Narayan temple, Gandhi Museum. Drive past India Gate, Presidents' house , the Government buildings and the Parliament house.Lunch at local restaurant. After lunch transfer to Airport to connect flight for onward destination.
